  • Maintaining regular communication with loved ones back home and informing them of your whereabouts can be accomplished by activating the roaming service on your U.S. cell phone.
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of local emergency phone numbers and contact information for the U.S. Embassy, Consulate General, or Consular Agency located closest to you.
